How to Stop Scrolling & Finish One Book a Week

Do you ever look at your phone and realize that forty-five minutes of perfectly good reading time has vanished into the void of mindless scrolling? You aren't alone. Believe me, I've been there more times than I care to admit.  There was a time when I could easily breeze through over 100 books a year, but lately I've found myself landing at about half that. In today's world it is so incredibly easy to get distracted by the constant noise of notifications and the general chaos of daily life. We are all navigating the same digital noise, but I've found that finding your way back to your favorite stories doesn't have to require a total life makeover. Instead, it just takes a little bit of gentle focus and a cozy place to crack open your book. I've put together a list of some simple swaps that have helped me carve out more time for doing more of what I love, reading. Top New Romance Book Releases for 2026 (May - December)

One thing that you can always count on as a reader is that there will always be more book releases to look forward to. Rain or shine they continue to come, and honestly my list of must-reads for the rest of the year is already growing faster than me or my TBR can keep up with. Let me begin by saying that I am so beyond excited for the titles on this list, as these are the ones I'm personally counting down the days for as we slowly make our way into the second half of 2026. Everette is now the town's charming mayor, and he's not about to let Mila slip away a second time. ...

I am so excited to finally be able to share my thoughts on this one! I was incredibly lucky to receive an ARC from NetGalley and Berkley Publishing, so after enjoying Better Than the Movies  last summer, I couldn't wait to see what Lynn Painter had in store next. This story is a sports romance (which you should know by now is one of my favorite romance tropes), and follows the electric, as well as slightly chaotic connection between a football player and a dedicated super fan. But does this whirlwind romance actually get a touch down, or was it a total fumble? Let's get into it. Preorder First and Forever Here Synopsis After a disastrous (and very public) run-in with the team mascot, die-hard football fan Duffy Distefano accidentally becomes the internet's favorite bad guy. To save her reputation and the team's image, she does a live TV interview that quickly turns into a viral sparring match when the Coyotes star tight end, Connor Cunningham joins in. The public instan...
