I really enjoyed this one, as well as the next book in the series! One of my favorite parts was the deaf representation, as it's something you don't see very often in romance books, and it was handled really well I thought. The dynamic of them building a makeshift family together for the sake of their siblings was also really well executed.
Fragile Hopes by Lisina Coney

I am currently about 70% of the way through this shiny new release and am loving every second of it! It's a slow burn that hits all the classic tropes we adore as romance readers, such as small town, single parent, and features a firefighter mc. Honestly, reading it is what inspired me to put this blog post together.
Wait For It by Mariana Zapata

A few years ago, I discovered Mariana Zapata and immediately devoured as many of her books as I could get my hands on. While Wait For It may be one of her more under-hyped releases, it definitely deserves so much more love. It's a deeply heartfelt and emotional read that makes a great addition to the unexpected guardian trope.
Juniper Hill by Devney Perry
Memphis Ward arrives in the small town of Quincy, Montana, at rock bottom. She's exhausted and trying to start over from scratch, all while carrying her newborn baby son along. Leaving her former life behind to secure a better future for her child, she takes a job as a housekeeper at a local inn and moves into a small garage apartment. That's where she meets her temporary landlord, Knox Eden, the rugged, tattooed chef who is completely off-limits. Memphis has sacrificed her own dreams for her baby's sake, but living on Knox's property makes ignoring their intense connection nearly impossible.
I know the Edens is such a popular series, but this was actually the only book in it that I truly enjoyed! While the rest of the books needed just a little something more in my opinion, Memphis and Knox's story completely delivered. If you're looking for a single parent, fresh start romance set in a small town, then this one is worth the read.
Catch Her If You Can by Tessa Bailey
Madden Donahue, the newest catcher for the Yankees, has been secretly in love with burlesque club owner Eve Mitchell since high school. When Eve is unexpectedly left to raise her sister's two kids with no safety net, Madden steps up with a solution: marry him so she can access his health benefits. I absolutely love this whole series, because honestly, who doesn't love a good Elsie Silver book? Cade and Willa's story had everything I adore about the single parent trope, from the protective dad energy, to the soft tender moments with his little boy. This one was an instant favorite for me!
Weather Girl by Rachel Lynn Solomon
Ari Abrams loves her job as a TV meteorologist, but her dream of being mentored by her boss and legendary weather woman Torrance Hale, is falling apart. Torrance is completely consumed by a messy, endless feud with her ex-husband, who also happens to be the news director. What many readers don't realize going into this one is that it doesn't advertise itself as being a single-parent romance, but it totally is! Russell is a single dad living in Seattle, which adds a sweet layer to this story. On top of that, this book features fantastic depression representation and wonderful plus-size rep, making Ari and Russel's story feel very realistic and heartfelt.
